    CAIRO - Egypt's High Court accepted the Public Prosecutor's appeal and "annulled the acquittal verdict" of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak regarding the trial for the murder of demonstrators in 2011, Mena Agency reported, scheduling the beginning of new trials on November 5.
    "The High Court has annulled the verdict acquitting former president Hosni Mubarak from accusations waged against him during the trial of the century", state television and local media said, quoting a press statement from the High Court.
    The defendant will face charges relating to the assassination of protestors during the January 2011 revolution as well as accusations of corruption and embezzlement of state funds.
