(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, MARCH 30 - Montenegro has asked for aid
from NATO in the form of medical equipment to deal with the
COVID-19 emergency.
According to the Vijesti website, the small former Yugoslav
country with some 620,000 inhabitants has thus far recorded 91
cases of COVID-19 and two deaths of people who have tested
positive for it.
The country is asked for 320 ventilators, 5.6 million
protective masks, 6.5 million latex gloves and 250 goggles with
a protective visor.
Montenegro entered NATO three years ago and was for several
weeks the only Balkan country without any recorded cases of
COVID-19. (ANSAmed).
