Covid: Algeria finds six cases of Indian variant

Total of 122.717 infections since start of pandemic

    (ANSAmed) - TUNISI, 04 MAG - The Pasteur Institute in Algiers said it found six cases of the Indian coronavirus variant in the region of Tipaza, west of the capital.

    It also its analyses revealed 37 cases of the UK variant.

    Algerian Health Ministry data revealed that on Tuesday there were 195 new cases of coronavirus, 10 deaths and 136 recovered patients.

    Since the start of the pandemic, Algeria has recorded 122,717 cases and 3,280 deaths, with a total of 85,534 people who have recovered from the virus. (ANSAmed).
