Body of young migrant found on Ceuta beach

(ANSA) - MADRID, 23 LUG - Moroccan police on Thursday night prevented about 150 people from trying to scale the border wall that separates the border of Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla, said EFE news agency, citing sources from the central government's delegation in the enclave.

Moroccan security forces therefore prevented a new en-masse entry of migrants in Spanish territory after the one that took place Thursday morning, when a total of 238 people managed to cross the border.

Spanish Civil Guard forces were on high surveillance throughout Thursday night on their own side of the border, said local newspaper El Faro de Melilla, which reported that four migrants managed to cross the border in recent hours.

Meanwhile, the body of a young migrant was found on a beach in Ceuta, another Spanish enclave in Morocco. (ANSA).
