Migrants:Tunisian ships for 430 people in danger-Alarm Phone

'But Malta has responsibility to host them'

    (ANSAmed) - TUNIS, NOVEMBER 25 - "Twenty-four hours after the first alarm, the Tunisian Navy has informed us that it has just sent four ships towards the 430 people in danger and that a rescue operation is ongoing", sea-rescue support hotline Alarm Phone wrote on Twitter. It added that "Tunisia is not a safe country for them".

    The report was confirmed by local sources and the area affected by the rescue operation is located at the border between the SAR (search and rescue) zone of Malta and Tunisia.
