(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, JUNE 22 - After two years of absence
due to Covid, the International music festival of El Jem is
reopening for its 35th edition.
From July 12 until August 13, the Roman amphitheater of El Jem (called the small Coliseum), which was declared in 1979 a world heritage site, will host nine concerts of different music styles. As far as Italy is concerned, on July 16 the famous flautist Andrea Griminelli will perform with his Octa Jazz Quartet in an homage to Ennio Morricone. This edition of the festival aims to valorize the region's artistic and cultural heritage, organizers said during a press conference to present the event. (ANSAmed).
