(ANSAmed) - ISTANBUL, AUG 11 - The Turkish Coast Guard has rescued 130 migrants that were trying to reach Greek islands in the Aegean Sea illegally from the Turkish coast when they were pushed back by Greece.

The Turkish daily Hurriyet reported the news and quoted a Coast Guard statement that said that the migrants had been rescued between August 8 ad August 9 in four operations off the coast of Dikili and Karaburun in the Izmir province.
