Migrants: 700 passengers of drifting ship arrive in Sicily

Rescued off Lampedusa and taken to Messina, Catania, Augusta

    MESSINA - Some 700 migrants who were rescued last night off Siracusa while on board a drifting ship have arrived in Sicily. About 240 of the passengers were taken by the De Grazia coast guard vessel to Messina. The majority are Egyptian, including 67 unaccompanied minors, no woman. The other migrants were taken to Catania and Augusta.
