(ANSAmed) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 1 - Saudi Arabia has decided
to cancel a speech at the UN General Assembly scheduled on
Tuesday. According to UN diplomatic sources, the Saudis decided
to cancel the address to express their disagreement over the
latest developments concerning Syria and Iran. The Arab country,
sources said, is not satisfied with the resolution on Syria
adopted by the UN Security Council. It is also reportedly
displeased with the recent significant turning point in
relations between Tehran and the international community, sealed
by an historic phone conversation between Iranian President
Hassan Rohani and his US counterpart Barack Obama.(ANSAmed).
