(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, AUGUST 28 - Despite growing concerns over the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine, NATO does not plan to reduce the number of peacekeeping troops it has in Kosovo as part of the KFOR mission. The announcement was made by a high-ranking official quoted by Serbian news agency Tanjug.

Kosovo troops have a clear mandate from the UN Security Council and both Serbs and Albanians want them to stay, added the diplomat, who asked to remain anonymous. (ANSAmed).
