ROME - Arab ambassadors and those from Muslim nations as well as several well-known figures from the Muslim world have been granted a special guided tour among the 363 works exhibited at the Scuderie del Quirinale.

The exhibition, 'Art from Islamic Civilization', is from the Al-Sabah collection of Kuwait. On the invitation of Kuwait's ambassador to Rome, Sheikh Ali Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the diplomats visited the textiles, ceramics, miniatures and jewels from ten centuries of history. They underscored that the event was important in such a location as Rome, the cradle of Catholic and Western civilization, and at such an important time, showing that ''Italy and the eternal city is a bridge between civilizations and cultures''.
