(ANSAmed) - NEW YORK, MARCH 28 - Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have donated 930 million dollars to UN humanitarian efforts in Yemen as the war between the Saudi-led military coalition and Shiite rebels enters its fourth year.

Saudi heir prince, Mohammed bin Salman, presented last night the donation to UN secretary general, Antonio Guterres, who thanked him. The donation represents about one-third of the humanitarian aid that the UN deems necessary this year for Yemen.

''On the other hand, we know that a humanitarian solution to humanitarian problems doesn't exist'', added Guterres. ''The solution is a political one: we are completely at your disposal to work together to find a political solution, when that will be possible'', said Salman.
