(ANSAmed) - PARIS, APRIL 9 - The vaccine against Covid-19 AstraZeneca should not be used in Moselle (eastern France) and in the overseas territories of Mayotte and Réunion, because it is not sufficiently effective against the South African virus variant, according to France's top health authority.

In Moselle, at the border with Germany, the agency advised to "continue to privilege access to the vaccines" of Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, as well as Johnson&Johnson when it will be available.(ANSAmed).
