BRUSSELS - The new Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI) will allocate about eight billion euros (10%) of its budget to migration management. The fund, which will support the EU's actions in third countries, with a total budget of 79.5 billion euros for the 2021-2027 period, will be voted on in a European Parliament plenary session this week.

EU Commission for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen discussed the matter in a small briefing with some media including ANSA.

The resources to deal with migration in Libya will also be covered by this indicative total of 10% of the new instrument's budget.
