Tunisia: Saied removes 20 more senior govt officials

    TUNIS - Tunisian President Kais Saied issued a decree removing about twenty senior government officials from their posts, as well as military attorney general Taoufik Ayouni, taking rapid action after his unexpected decision on Sunday evening to suspend Parliament for 30 days and oust Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi.
    Among those removed were Secretary General of the Government Walid Dhahbi and the chairman of the General Committee of the Martyrs and Wounded of the Revolution and Terrorist Acts, Abderrazek Kilani.
