candidate Eric Zemmour called for the construction of a wall
along all external EU borders to fight undocumented migration
and promised financial support for countries ready to build it.
In an interview with BFM-TV, the Reconquete movement candidate said France and Germany oppose the idea, as well as EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johannson.
"But I will get the EU majority to pass in favour of the wall, which will be financed with EU funds," Zemmour said.
