(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, MAY 13 - An Israeli policeman was
killed on Friday morning near the West Bank city of Jenin.
The announcement was made by a police spokesman, who said that Noam Raz, 47, had been killed during an operation "against armed terrorists".
Raz was a member of the police counterterrorism unit known as Yamam.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that "a hero has died, a courageous fighter who risked his life in a counterterrorism operation". (ANSAmed).
