(ANSAmed) - CAIRO, 22 SET - The Libyan prime minister designated by Parliament, Fathi Bashagha, has announced that his government will provisionally work from the cities of Sirte and Benghazi after attempts to operate from Tripoli failed, the website Libya Observer reports. It added that Bashagha has declared that he does not want to "shed blood or inflame division" by entering the capital.

"With his government's work from the east, (Bashagha) will strive to free the western region, helping it and supporting it in all sectors, until his executive will not control the entire Libyan soil", the website wrote yesterday, summing up statements made by the 'parallel' premier, rivalling the prime minister named with a procedure that took place under UN sponsorship, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
