BELGRADE - Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik has described relations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as good, saying they are in constant communication, according to media outlets in Belgrade. The statement denied press reports claiming over the past few days that relations between the pair had cooled down, with Vucic allegedly even backing the opposition in the Republika Srpska for Bosnian elections last Sunday.

"There are always allegations", said Dodik. "I speak regularly with Vucic", he noted, adding there are no problems in relations between Republika Srpska and Serbia. The Bosnian Serb leader -outgoing Serbian member of the tripartite presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina - won the race for the presidency of Republika Srpska. And the fact that Vucic did not offer his congratulations - contrary to Hungarian Premier Viktor Orban - was a source of surprise, leading to the allegations. Dodik said that Vucic - as a serious politician - is waiting for the electoral results to become official, a complicated process in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
