(ANSAmed) - BRUXELLES, 06 DIC - The Western Balkans must
choose whether to stand on the side of democracy, with its
friend and partner the EU, or take a different direction,
European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said Tuesday
on arriving at an EU-Western Balkans summit in Tirana on
Tuesday.
She urged countries in the region to take a position against authoritarian states like Russia and China, adding that the EU is the largest investor and closest partner of the Western Balkans. (ANSAmed).
