(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, JULY 11 - Novak Djokovic, who conquered a seventh title at Wimbledon on Sunday, his fourth, has confirmed he does not intend to get vaccinated against Covid, stating at the same time that he is not very hopeful to get a medical exemption that would allow him to take part in the next tournaments in the United States, where anti-Covid vaccination is mandatory to enter the country.

"I am not vaccinated and don't intend to get vaccinated, so the only good news for me would be the abolition of a ban to enter the US for those who are not vaccinated. I am not sure that an exception will be possible in my case", Djokovic was quoted as saying by Serbian media on Monday. "I am on holiday and intend to get some rest for the next few weeks, at the end of a tiring period of some months. There was a lot of tennis and I am happy for this. I got what I wanted".(ANSAmed).
