(ANSAmed) - Tunis, September 19 - Engineer Enzo Siviero,
mastermind of the proposed 140 km TUNeIT bridge linking the
Tunisian peninsula of Cap Bon to Sicily, has launched a
'competition of ideas' for the four artificial islands that are
supposed to support it.
The competition is open to students and graduates in
architecture and engineering and there is plenty of scope for
indulgence on the civil and industrial engineering fronts,
Siviero said.
The poet by predilection, deputy president of Réseau
Méditerranéen des Eccles d'Ingénieurs di Marsiglia and dean of
the university ECampus is determined to make his ambitious
project a reality, even at the significant cost of 100 billion
euros.
