Italian police on Thursday arrested tow men on suspicion of raping a female minor during a party in a Rome villetta on New Year's Eve 2020, a year ago, judicial sources said.
Another man was ordered to stay in Rome and report to the police regularly.
The three, aged between 19 and 21, are accused of aggravated group sexual violence.
At the time of the alleged rape the alleged victim was 16.
The girl told police she had been raped during a New year's Eve party in the residence in the Primavalle area of the Italian capital between December 31 2020 and January 1 2021.
She was treated in hospital for minor injuries where doctors found in her body substances that led police to think she was physically and mentally debilitated during the alleged rape.
A probe, which wound up last April, enabled police to track down the alleged perpetrators.
