A 39-year-old Italian woman was
arrested for stalking near Reggio Emilia Friday after allegedly
making almost 6,000 phone calls to her ex in five months,
including death threats if he didn't get back with her, judicial
sources said.
The woman had already received a warning on December 31 after
calling her ex-boyfriend 5,658 times since August and sending
him 418 texts.
Despite this, she went to the home of the 50-year-old man at
Castellarano on Thursday, and was arrested by Carabinieri in
flagrante delicto.
Police said the woman, from Fiorano Modenese, was unable to
accept the end of a relationship that began in April and lasted
four months.
The man blocked her on all his media but she turned up at his
house and workplace repeatedly and threatened to kill him as
well as posting nude photos of him, police said.
