The resources and reforms attached to the post-COVID EU-funded 200-billion-euro National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) will deeply impact Italian society, President Sergio Mattarella said Tuesday.
"We are going through extraordinary times, the huge financial resources of the NRRP impose a considerable volume of investments in a short time period which will impact society, together with the reforms, just think of the ecological and digital transition plan", he said.
Mattarella stressed the importance of using the funds well and avoiding corruption in spending them.
