One of two suspected murderers of a
Prato man was caught Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
The 35-year-old plasterer is believed to have attacked the
victim, 38-year-old former personal trainer and waiter Gianni
Avvisato, outside his home at Comeana in the hills above the
Tuscan city.
The arrested man told police he had taken part in a fight with
Avvisato but that it had been his companion who had shot him.
Avvisato was killed by a single shot to the head.
Police are looking for the second man.
