There have been 44,878 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 64 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
That compares to 10,008 new cases and 32 more victims Monday.
Some 243,421 more tests have been done, compared to 65,697
Monday.
The positivity rate is up from 15.2% to 18.4%.
Intensive care case are down two to 128 and hospital admissions
up 192 to 3,653.
The currently positive are 444,389, up 16,957 on Monday.
The recovered and discharged are 21,737,122 (+27,854).
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 22,358,487,
and the death toll 176,976.
