Italian regions at moderate COVID
risk have dropped from four to three, according to a weekly
report from the Higher Health Institute (ISS) and the health
ministry issued Friday.
Marche, Molise and Val d'Aosta are at moderate risk from the
virus this week, compared to Basilicata, Trento, Bolzano and Val
d'Aosta last week, the report said.
The remaining 18 regions are now low risk.
Two regions, Bolzano and Sardinia, have a resilience alert
linked to local health services.
The weekly contagion incidence is down from 34 per 100,000
inhabitants last week to 29 this week.
The Rt contagion number is practically steady at 0.85, compared
to 0.83 last week.
