Kosovo: authorities end power cuts

After cooperation with neighbouring Albania

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 16 - Power outages in Kosovo ended at 2 p.m. Monday, and regular electricity supply was restored thanks to cooperation between Kosovo and Albanian power companies, according to regional television N1.

According to Serbian state television (RTS), the Ministry of Economy in Pristina confirmed this information and urged citizens and businesses to conserve energy.

Kosovo began power cuts at 8 a.m. Monday, with the Kosovo power company (KEDS) stating that it will provide consumers with power for six hours, followed by a two-hour power outage. (ANSA).
