Greece: PM Mitsotakis apologises for wildfires control
Mitsotakis, natural disaster of unprecedented dimensions

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 10 - Greece's prime minister Kyriakos
Mitsotakis has apologised for failures in tackling the wildfires
that are tearing across the country, the BBC reported today. "We
may have done what was humanly possible, but in many cases it
was not enough," Mitsotakis said.
"I completely understand the pain of our fellow citizens who saw their homes or property burning," Mitsotakis underlined in a TV address, adding however that the country was "facing a natural disaster of unprecedented dimensions". (ANSA).
