(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 2 - On November 3, German Federal
Chancellor Olaf Scholz will host in Berlin the heads of state of
the Western Balkans, representatives of the participating EU
countries, the United Kingdom, as well as international
financial institutions and regional organizations for the Berlin
Process 2022 Western Balkans Summit. The Berlin Process was
established in 2014 as a platform for all Western Balkans states
(Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North
Macedonia, and Serbia) to accelerate closer alignment with the
EU and deepen regional integration and cooperation as a key to
economic growth and peace in the Western Balkans, according to
the European Investment Bank (EIB). The process focuses on areas
such as infrastructure development, business, regional youth
exchanges, reconciliation, and science, the EIB said. (ANSA).
