No-confidence vote brings down Romania govt

Its allies boycotted the vote

(ANSA-AFP) - BUCHAREST, OCT 5 - The government of liberal Romanian Prime Minister Florin Citu was brought down by a no-confidence vote on Tuesday, threatening fresh political instability. The official result showed 281 MPs in favour of the motion with none against as the government and its allies boycotted the vote. (ANSA-AFP).
