Firefighting aircrafts from Romania are expected in Slovenia

A Croatian Canadair also operating in Kras

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 23 - Three Romanian military planes with greater capacity are expected to arrive in Slovenia late this afternoon to assist in fighting the wildfires on Kras, Civil Protection representative Ervin Curlic told the news agency STA today. In Slovenia is also now operating a Croatian Canadair, according to data from the portal Flightradar24. The Romanian government has approved the assistance of two 6,000-liter Spartan aircraft, which can be compared to the Canadian, and a Hercules aircraft that will provide support, the Slovenian daily Delo reported. According to local media, the Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin is also expected to travel today to the Slovenian Kras and to meet with its Slovenian counterpart Marjan Sarec. Serbia is among the countries that is contributing to the fight against the wildfire in Slovenia. (ANSA).
