(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 30 LUG - At around 5 p.m. today traffic was basically equaling last year's flow, with an upward trend. The forecast for the end of the day is thus to reach nearly 190,000 transits. After the two years of pandemic restrictions, vacationers, mainly from Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, heading to the Lisert to the seaside resorts of Slovenia and Croatia were seen again on the A4 highway. These were joined by French, Spanish, and Swiss license plates that had already been crowding the barrier since last night. These are, as usual on the first weekend of the exodus, workers from Eastern Europe returning home. This is Autovie Venete's assessment of the first black marker day.

Lisert scored +4% compared to the same Saturday in 2021. As usual, queues were created just before the toll booth - with a peak of 5 kilometers at 4 p.m. - but it was not necessary to use the safety car for the A34 Villesse - Gorizia bypass. Motorists were advised by variable message signs to use the most suitable route, exiting at Palmanova, Villesse, to Redipuglia. The third-lane section (Bridge on the Tagliamento River - Palmanova Junction) - where as many as 3,500 transits per hour were reached - facilitated traffic flow for those who were headed toward the sea or the mountains or Lisert. Si tratta, come di consuetudine nel primo weekend di esodo, di lavoratori dell'Est Europa che fanno ritorno a casa. E' il bilancio di Autovie Venete della prima giornata da bollino nero. Il Lisert ha totalizzato +4% rispetto allo stesso sabato del 2021. Come da consuetudine si sono create code poco prima del casello - con un picco di 5 chilometri alle 16,00 - ma non è stato necessario utilizzare la safety car per il bypass della A34 Villesse - Gorizia. Agli automobilisti è stato consigliato dai pannelli a messaggi variabile di utilizzare il tragitto più idoneo, uscendo a Palmanova, Villesse, a Redipuglia. Il tratto di terza corsia (Ponte sul Tagliamento - Nodo di Palmanova) - dove si sono raggiunti anche 3.500 transiti all'ora - ha facilitato la fluidità del traffico per chi era diretto verso il mare o la montagna o il Lisert. Continui, invece, - da metà mattinata - gli stop and go per il traffico intenso nella tratta a due corsie tra San Donà e il Ponte sul Fiume Tagliamento, con code in uscita ai caselli di San Donà, Cessalto, San Stino L.
