Autovie, sustained traffic is expected on holiday weekend

28 thousand vehicles at Lisert heading to Slovenia and Croatia

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, AUG 11 - Cadenced departures are are expected on the Autovie Venete highway network next week end.

Traffic will be sustained in both directions on the A4 (Venice - Trieste) with possible slowdowns at the "sea" tollbooths and on the A23 (Palmanova - Udine Sud), especially on Saturday when about 180 thousand vehicles are expected to transit, Autovie Venete reported.

About 28 thousand vehicles directed to the coasts of Slovenia and Croatia are expected to pass the Lisert barrier. 11 thousand vehicles are expected at Villesse and 5 thousand at Redipuglia, "alternative" tollbooths for those who want to reach these vacation destinations. Latisana seaside tollbooth could register 17 thousand transits and San Donà di Piave 9 thousand.
