Bulgaria: unemployment in July unchanged compared to June
Unemployment fell by 0.8 percentage points a year-on-year

(ANSA-BTA) - ROME, 15 AGO - Bulgaria's unemployment level in
July 2022 was unchanged from June and stood again at a record
low of 4.2 percent, according to data from the Employment
Agency's administrative statistics released Monday.
Unemployment fell by 0.8 percentage points a year-on-year.
There were 139,215 registered unemployed in July, 416 more than in June, and 25,919 (15.7 percent) fewer than a year earlier.
The increase of the unemployed is attributed to Ukrainians with temporary housing in the country. In July 20,362 new unemployed people registered with labor offices, 1,698 fewer than in the previous month and 89 fewer than in July 2021.
In July 12,885 unemployed people started work. Nearly 19 percent of these found a job in manufacturing, 12.9 percent in public administration, 12.6 percent in hotels and restaurants, 12.2 percent in trade and 5.6 percent in construction.
