(ANSA) - COSENZA, JUNE 20 - Cosenza Chamber of Commerce and the Criminal Chamber of Cosenza ''Avvocato Fausto Gullo'' signed a memorandum of understanding for mutual co-operation in the field of guarantees for persons involved in a criminal case. In particular, it will be easier for attorneys to obtain from the Chamber of Commerce documents filed at the Business Register, by using telematic services or certified e-mail. ''The agreement with the Criminal Chamber - said Klaus Algieri, president of the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce - is one of the strategic objectives of this institution, which is willing to collaborate with other local institutional and speed up the administrative procedures, in particular with regard to the protection of the constitutional and individual rights of those who are facing a criminal case, that is a very delicate situation''. The agreement was signed by President Algieri, and attorney Roberto Le Pera, secretary general of the Criminal Chamber. Among the actions envisaged in the Memorandum of Understanding are the commitment to pursuing any possible synergy aimed at enhancing studies and insights on cultural and scientific issues related to security and legality, in order to strengthen the local network also through the organization of projects, conferences, seminars and by participating in European and national tenders such as PON Legality.
