Migrants: detections down 14% in the Balkans
Nearly half less at Europe's external borders

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 19 - Nearly 2,200 detections of
irregular border crossings by migrants and refugees were
registered on the Western Balkan route in January, down 14% from
January 2020, Frontex informed.
The number of illegal border crossings at Europe's external borders in January fell by nearly half from a year ago to nearly 5,800, according to Frontex preliminary calculations. (ANSA).
