(ANSA) - MILAN, AUG 3 - The impact of the two recent floods
that also hit Germany on Generali's half-year accounts is worth
just €200m. That is the amount of the damage "after having
transferred the risk to the reinsurers." "Although it was much
higher in a gross way, the impact in the first half of the year
on the whole part of Central Eastern Europe, which also touched
Switzerland, part of France, and Austria, reached the threshold
of €200m. The second event cannot exceed an impact of €100m,
too, thanks to the reinsurance structure we can rely on,"
explained the Cfo of Generali Cristiano Borean in a video call
with news agencies. (ANSA).
