(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 17 - Ljubljana is among the seven shortlisted European cities competing for the title of the '2022 European Capital of Smart Tourism', the European Commission has announced, the Slovenian news agency STA reported today. The other cities competing for the title are Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Dublin, Florence, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. The two winners, which will prevail based on the success as tourism destinations focusing on accessibility, sustainability, digitalisation, cultural heritage and creativity, will be announced in November. The winning cities will receive in 2022 communication support that will help promote their brands, STA said. (ANSA).
