(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 27 - Speaking at the national
Parliament during a debate on the revised budget for 2022, the
Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob evocated today the
possibility that his government will have to nationalise an
energy company. Golob did not explicitly mention which company
he meant, bu the Prime Minister noted that the nationalisation
is possible soon, within the next month, the Slovenian news
agency STA reported. "This is not about socialism or communism,
but about tackling the energy crisis and ensuring a stable
energy supply," Golob said. During his speech, Golob mentioned
the recent nationalisation of Germany's leading gas importer
Uniper. According to STA, the Slovenian government has set
aside 750 million euro for the national energy sector. (ANSA).
