CoE: Serbia has twice as many mediators as other countries
Ratio is 21/per 100,000 residents, a record out of 46 countries

(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, 05 OTT - "The number of mediators in
Serbia is already sufficiently high," and their ratio, 21.1 per
100.000 inhabitants, is twice as high as in the other countries
that comprise the Council of Europe. Yet, despite this, the
number of cases in which mediation occurs remains low". That
emerged from the latest report of CEPEJ, the European Commission
for the Efficiency of Justice, a CoE body, which took a snapshot
of the situation in the 46 member states in 2020. (ANSA).
