It will have a capacity of about 700 MW

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - The Lithuanian government is preparing procedures for the construction of the first offshore park in the Baltic Sea. The park is likely to come into operation in the Lithuanian territorial waters near Palanga in 2028 with a capacity of about 700 MW, generating up to 3 TWh of green electricity annually, supplying about a quarter of the country's needs, thereby reducing imports. The park will attract investments of more than one bn euros, and its construction will require the creation of about 1,300 jobs. (ANSA).
