Germany: retail turnover in July down 5.1% on previous month
But June 2021 was a high-sales month, Destatis noted

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 1 - The real turnover of the retail
enterprises in Germany was 5.1% lower in July 2021 than in June
2021, on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis, provisional
results of the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis)
show. When comparing the month-on-month figures it is important
to note that June 2021 was a high-sales month because of the
then declining coronavirus incidence in all of Germany and the
lifting of the 'federal emergency brake', Destatis noted.
