Lithuania will allow transit of Russian goods

After new European Commission guidelines

14 July, 08:08
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 14 - Lithuania announced on Wednesday that it would permit goods from Russia that have been sanctioned to pass through its territory on their way to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, reversing its previous position in light of new guidelines from the European Commission.

Following weeks of conflict between Moscow, Lithuania, and the European Union that tried Europe's resolve to impose sanctions on Russia, the new guidelines were released on Wednesday.
