An Italian tobacconist who shot and
killed a thief in his shop near Turin in June 2019 was indicted
Thursday on charges of murder.
Iachi Bonvin shot dead a young man from Moldova, Ion Stavila,
who had been caught committing the theft with two other
accomplices.
The tobacconist had initially faced charges of excessive
self-defence.
The incident took place at Pavone Canavese on the night of 6 and
7 June 2019.
