Italy backs common debt for EU
challenges, Premier Giorgia Meloni said Thursday.
"We can have better strategies but then we need resources," she
said after an EU summit in Brussels.
"We know what the debate is in the EU over common debt, a
proposal backed by the Italian government.
"(Ex premier Enrico) Letta proposes (in his Single Market
Report) the issue of the capacity to mobilise private
investments so that this capital remains".
