COVID: 57,890 new cases, 320 more victims

There have been 57,890 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 320 more victims of the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
    That compares to 59,749 new cases and 278 more victims Wednesday.
    Some 538,131 more tests have been done, compared with 555,080 Wednesday.
    The positivity rate is steady at 10.7%.
    Intensive care cases are down 36 to 1,037 and hospital admissions down 565 to 14,562.
    The currently positive are 1,480,113, down 70,297 on Wednesday.
    The recovered and discharged are 10,633,268, up 129,888 on Wednesday.
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 12,265,343, and the death toll 151,962.
