The 2022 edition of the Ryder Cup at
Rome has been put off till 2023 after the 2020 edition in the
USA was put off till 2021 due to COVID-19, PGA of America and
Ryder Cup Europe said Wednesday.
The first Italian-staged event will now take place at the Marco
Simone Golf & Country Club at
Guidonia Montecelio on the outskirts of the Italian capital in
2023, they said.
The next edition, next year, will be staged at the Whistling
Straits Golf Course Kohler in Wisconsin on September 21-26 2021.
