Serie A champions Napoli held runaway
leaders Inter to a 1-1 draw at San Siro on Sunday, with defender
Juan Jesus heading home a late equalizer for the visitors after
Matteo Darmian had put the Milanese side ahead in the first
half.
Inter have 76 points with nine games to go, 14 points more than
second-placed AC Milan. who won 3-1 at Hellas Verona.
Juve's form rut continued with a goalless draw at home with
Genoa which leaves the Turin giants 17 points off the pace in
third.
AS Roma consolidated fifth place with a 1-0 win over Sassuolo
thanks to a second-half strike by Lorenzo Pellegrini.
They are three points behind surprise package Bologna in fourth,
who won 1-0 at Empoli on Friday.
The top four are sure to qualify for next season's Champions
League although fifth may also be good for a slot in Europe's
big time if Italy gets an extra slot on the basis of how its
teams perform in continental competition this term.
